North London MC, Hammer has been involved in the grime scene since 2004, when he hosted shows on Mystic & Heat FM with his former crew Menace to Society. Since then, Hammer has embarked on a solo career and in 2009 released the Hurricane City EP.

The first official single from the EP, “Stinkin” which was produced by Dexplicit received heavy rotation on Channel U and by summer, Hammer showed no signs of slowing down when he released “Hurricane” featuring none other than the Murkleman, Jammer.

Hammer believes that creativity is an important part of his music and in September 2009, he created the first interactive grime music video “Hurricane City: The Drama” which incorporated three tracks from the Hurricane City EP – Stinkin, Silence Man ft. Silencer and Hurricane.

On March 8th 2010, Hammer released the electro/funky track, “Mic Check” featuring J-Swizzy, which is currently available on iTunes. The track first gained recognition when it was used as the soundtrack to ‘Backstage at the MOBOs” on Grime Daily last year.

Hammer recently performed at Urban Development’s Industry Takeover alongside Grimnal, Ghetts, Wretch 32, Mz Bratt, NY to name a few and has been doing various radio and personal appearances across the UK. In April, Hammer will be holding the “Mic Check Launch Party” in conjunction with I Luv Live.

To date, Hammer has collaborated with the likes of Dot Rotten, Skepta, JME and Wiley and made guest appearances on numerous radio shows including Tim Westwood, DJ Cameo and Logan Sama.
